The course of Energy Efficiency provides a comprehensive overview of the technical and economic aspects of energy efficiency (EE) measures. This online training programme includes five courses that cover support mechanisms for industrial sector and built environment energy efficiency (EE) projects. Key attributes of energy efficiency (EE) measures are highlighted, such as savings potential and organisational aspects (e.g. energy management systems and energy audits). Topics: Introduction to Energy Efficiency Projects Support Mechanisms for Energy Efficiency Projects Systematic Approaches to Energy Saving Energy Efficiency in the Industry Energy Efficient Buildings Technological aspects of energy efficiency Cross-sectional energy efficiency technologies To supplement the learning experience, participants will have access to optional introductory courses on energy and electricity topics. These courses are not mandatory, do not contain assignments, and will not be covered in the exam. Participants new to these topics would benefit from reviewing the content in these courses. After completing this programme, participants should be able to: identify energy efficiency project drivers and barriers; select the most suitable energy efficiency technologies for a project; evaluate energy efficiency finance options; and propose energy management systems and energy audits.
