🇺🇳 Distinguished Participation of Egyptian Civil Society in the United Nations International Conference on Financing for Development (FFD4)

The UN Climate Ambassadors and members of the Volunteer Team Foundation for Humanitarian Work are honored to announce their distinguished participation in the United Nations International Conference on Financing for Development (FFD4), held in Seville, Spain, with the participation of government leaders, civil society representatives, the private sector, and international organizations.

🔹 The foundation’s delegation, representing Egyptian civil society, includes:

  • Ambassador Mostafa El-Sayed Sherbiny – Team Ambassador and International Environmental Thinker

  • Mai Ahmed

  • Iman Abdel-Magid

  • Maryam Adly

✳️ About the Conference:The FFD4 (Fourth Financing for Development Forum) is a pivotal event for evaluating progress made in implementing the Addis Ababa Action Agenda on Financing for Development, and for identifying ways to strengthen international cooperation to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by 2030.

📌 Key issues addressed by the conference include:

  • Bridging climate and development finance gaps

  • Reforming the global financial system

  • Engaging civil society and the private sector in development

  • Tax justice and innovative financing

📣 As of July 1, 2025, the conference has granted all Climate Ambassadors access to general sessions and roundtables, enhancing the role of civil society in global decision-making.
