“High-Quality GHG Accounting: From Skills Development to Professional Recognition”

The virtual event will take place on 6 October 2026, from 16:00 to 17:30 CEST (UTC+2) as part of the PCCB Network Capacity-Building For Series.

The event brings together the Institute of Sustainability and Carbon Footprint LLC (ISCF) and the Greenhouse Gas Management Institute (GHGMI) to address the importance of strengthening professional competencies in greenhouse gas accounting, measurement, reporting and verification (MRV).

The session will explore how high-quality training, competency development and professional recognition can strengthen the credibility and consistency of GHG accounting and verification practices.

Ambassador Dr. Mostafa Elsayed Sherbiny, Founder, President & CEO of ISCF, will contribute to the discussion on skills development, professional recognition and capacity-building for GHG accounting and verification professionals.

The event also provides an opportunity for peer-to-peer exchange and discussion on strengthening institutional and professional capacity to support climate transparency.

ISCF’s participation reflects its continued engagement in international climate capacity-building and its work to develop professional competencies in GHG accounting, carbon footprint assessment, MRV, verification and sustainability.
